This takes you to a page for managing your search engine settings.

Find the section that says Search engine used in the address bar. Click the drop-down menu.

You’ll see a list of available options.

Set Google

From the list, select Google. This changes the default search engine for your Chrome browser from what it was previously, like Bing, to Google.

Once you’ve selected Google, you’re all set. From now on, when you type a query directly into the address bar, Google will handle the searching for you.
